I love to dance!!! not the bump n'grind style of the night clubs, that is what the bedroom is for, but the real freedom of movement that entices one to move however they feel when music is playing on the stereo or in their head. when i'm dancing i am happy, and if im not dancing i'm not happy... its really that simple for me. i had an entire summer of dancing while biking around Vancouver Island, and then about a month ago my dancing came to a hault. i moved to a new location, on salt spring island, and my life slowed down. i have fewer friends, i have a new job which adds a little stress, and i don't have anyone to dance with me. however, i am not going to let these little niches stop me any longer, and i have the band UH HUH HER to thank. these two gals really know how to create kickass female rock music and they had my heart and my head banging moves at hello. the best song is 'this is not a love song', with 'explode' following closely behind. the beats are hard and electric, but the lyrics are soft and relative to all girls hearts. perfect for club dancing, bed dancing, or dancing in your room.
